Script Breakdown & Panel Composition Brief: Title: Shadow’s Pact

Scene: A tense, rain-soaked confrontation between former lovers. Script Excerpt:

(Night. Heavy rain. The glow of streetlights reflects off wet pavement. LUCAS stands alone in the alley, rain soaking through his shirt. His fists are clenched at his sides, his breath unsteady.) Footsteps echo. A figure approaches—RAE. She steps into the light, her hood slipping back. Her soaked hair clings to her face, her eyes unreadable.

Lucas exhales sharply. His lips part like he wants to speak, but he doesn’t. Instead, his gaze drops to the ground.

Rae’s voice is quiet, but firm. “Tell me you don’t feel it anymore.”

Lucas flinches. He finally looks at her, his expression conflicted. The rain drips from his lashes.

A beat of silence. Then Rae steps closer—so close he can feel the warmth of her despite the cold rain.

Lucas shudders. His hands tremble before he finally lifts them—just enough to brush against Rae’s wrist. A hesitation.

Rae’s breath catches. She searches his face, waiting. Hoping.
